Software Engineer / SysAdmin / Tutor

Hi, I'm Hossein.
I keep systems alive.

A calm engineer with a soldering iron in one hand and a terminal in the other. Since 2013 I have built software, administered servers across three countries, and taught more than 70 people how to code.

Module 01 : About

Quietly curious, impatiently helpful

I am a software programmer and system administrator from Tehran. Calm and introverted, until there is a broken system in the room. Then I cannot rest until it works again, whether it is a misbehaving server, a stubborn bug or an electronic device on my workbench.

Years of working abroad with companies in Indonesia, Malaysia and the UAE taught me to adapt fast, communicate clearly and deliver beyond expectations. Today I build software, keep infrastructure healthy and teach programming, because the more I teach, the more I learn.

If someone asks for help, I never say no. And I am sure it will be done.

Off-duty fact: I hold a certificate in the neurobiology of everyday life from the University of Chicago. I like knowing how brains work, not just computers.
Module 02 : Career log

One decade, four countries, zero panic

From a foundation in Jakarta to a studio in Tehran, every stop added a new layer to the stack.

2013 - 2015

System Administrator

Education foundation / Jakarta, Indonesia

Ran the full IT infrastructure of a poverty-eradication and education foundation: 200+ machines, Linux and Windows servers, an IP-PBX phone system built on Linux, proxy and cloud servers, plus security policies and daily monitoring.

2016
